In order to sustain life, like the air we breathe and the
food we eat, human beings must have water. In areas without safe
access to close-by water, women and small children risk assault and
rape just to obtain the water they so desperately need.

IMANI has completed wells in Vietnam and Cambodia but the need
is great.  Your, kind, generous support in helping us to provide more vitally needed
wells in the areas without clean water will be gratefully appreciated as water is
necessity of life.  (Started December 2019)

Feeding those in need in the Fredericksburg Area is an ongoing program for IMANI.
Each month, we sponsor a home cooked Multicultural Breakfast and Dinner and provide over 225 meals.

Being a stranger in the United states can be extremely stressful. Imagine you are ill and unable to express
your health issue to a medical professional, or unable to understand what they are telling you about your treatment. What if you need to fill in paperwork for a job, registering your child at school, communicating on any urgent matter.

All of these and many more situations require Interpreting Services. IMANI has Certified
Interpreters proficient in Spanish, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Arabic, Kiswahili, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi,
Russian, French, among many others languages represented in the Greater Fredericksburg
Area. We provide accurate, culturally respectful interpreting services. (Started 2008)

Clothes is a necessity in life, and not having access tothat is devastating.
It is something you don’t really think about because it comes so natural,
but some don’t have these things. By doing the drives for those who need it and getting
donations of new and/or lightly used clothes, coats, linen and/or blankets you will be helping
more than you will know.
